About PONNIYIN SELVAN 2
Ponniyin Selvan marks Aishwarya and Vikram’s second cooperation after their widely praised 2010 film Raavan. The film highlights Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha and Jayam Ravi in lead jobs. Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Ashwin Kakumanu, Mohan Raman, Sarathkumar and Parthiban are important for the supporting cast. Writer AR Rahman, supervisor Sreekar Prasad and cinematographer Ravi Varman are essential for the specialized team.
The second portion of Ponniyin Selvan depends on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel of a similar name. It will take off from the finish of the principal film, where the watchers saw Ponniyin Selvan confronting his passing, as Aishwarya Rai’s Oomai Rani hops into the ocean to save him. The film is bankrolled by Madras Talkies and Lyca Creations.
